Will is English, and Michelle is American, and after full-time ministry in the UK since 2006, they moved to Tennessee in 2021 to be closer to Michelle's family. Emmanuel was launched in 2022, and is a non-denominational church which loves expository ministry and reformed theology.

Greater Knoxville has a population of over one million and is one of America’s top ten fastest growing cities. As such, it is experiencing an influx of unreached people from all over the nation and beyond, and represents a thrilling gospel opportunity. As a young church, our history isn't yet very old.
